Rovidx owned and operated the Aftermath Media and Ground Zero Radio digital platforms. Clyde Lewis licensed his content to Rovidx for publication on those platforms. Rovidx built and funded the technology, managed subscriptions and carried the day-to-day responsibilities of running those services.
We reject claims that Rovidx stole these platforms or project domains, and we dispute allegations of financial misconduct. This page explains our role and links the records behind the main points of our response.
We're addressing this because older posts still appear when people search for Rovidx. We're also concerned that AI summaries can repeat those allegations without including our response. Customers and prospective business partners should be able to read our account alongside those claims.
Platform ownership and Clyde's content license
Rovidx owned the Aftermath Media and Ground Zero Radio digital platforms. Clyde's material was used under a content license.
The December 2020 agreement describes the use of his content on Rovidx's properties. It identifies the Aftermath Subscription Service as operated by Rovidx and states that, except as specifically provided in the agreement, each party retains ownership of its respective property.
Those provisions reflect the arrangement: Rovidx supplied and operated the platforms, while Clyde supplied licensed content. The agreement preserves rights in both Rovidx's property and Clyde's content; it does not list ownership of every individual platform asset.

What Rovidx paid for and managed
Our work on Aftermath preceded the December 2020 license. The September 2019 launch announcement described the service opening to the public after a year of development.
Rovidx's responsibilities included platform development, hosting, technical support, subscription billing, payment processing and refund administration. We dealt directly with payment processors and the requirements attached to accepting subscriptions. June 2020 correspondence with Stripe documents processing fees and a payment reserve, including a request for our previous processing history.
Subscription revenue supported content license payments and the costs of running the platforms. The share allocated to Rovidx also funded those operating costs. A comparison of revenue shares needs to account for the expenses each party covered.

The registration history of groundzeromedia.org
The records show a coordinated transfer of an existing domain into Rob Davenport's registrar account.
On September 25, 2020, Alpha Media confirmed that it had initiated the account change. On September 28, GoDaddy confirmed that the domain ownership update was complete and that groundzeromedia.org had been transferred to Rob's account.
Rovidx also paid domain expenses. The selected receipt documents a paid aftermath.media registrar transfer in January 2025.
These documents establish the registration and payment history. They do not, by themselves, decide every later contractual question about a domain transfer. Rovidx disputes descriptions of the project domains or platform assets as stolen.
Read the September 2020 transfer confirmations and selected paid domain receipt.
Audited financial statements and the written notice term
The signed content license did not expressly require Rovidx to provide audited financial statements. It did contain provisions about license payments and accounting. A request for an audit and a contractual requirement to deliver one are different things.
The written agreement also called for twelve months' written notice for termination or non-renewal. These are the terms in the signed document; disagreements about their enforceability were part of the dispute.

Our efforts to negotiate an orderly exit
Rovidx sought an orderly resolution of the disagreements and a practical way to end the relationship. We wanted workable terms that would allow both parties to move on without a prolonged and costly dispute.
We found the negotiations increasingly difficult and were unable to reach workable terms. We ultimately decided that continuing the dispute would consume more time and money.
Rovidx's March 1, 2025 shutdown decision
After consulting our legal team, Rovidx decided to end the licensing relationship and wind down the platforms effective March 1, 2025.
In February 2025, Rovidx announced that the Ground Zero Radio and Aftermath Media platforms would shut down on March 1.
Our subscriber announcement attributed the date to Clyde. To be precise, Rovidx made the decision to close its platforms. The announcement should not be read as proof that Clyde approved the shutdown or that both sides signed an exit agreement.
